I saw your forum post about this..

First of all, I would increase the frame rate. I animate on 20 fps, but 15 is good too. When planning your next Flash project, PLAN is the key word there. Even for a little 20-second animation, you need a vision of where you're going with it. Storyboards are super-helpful; you can see what does and doesn't work. It is a safe zone for creative thinking. As far as visuals go, try to make the backgrounds more interesting to look at. Unless that is the style that you are going for, the sky will be multiple shades, depending on the time of day, and the same goes for grass too. You may consider investing in a graphics tablet, if you are serious about becoming good at Flash. However, I know people who do fine with just a mouse, so it's a matter of personal preference. You can check out flashkit.com for free sfx and music loops, or you can get music from right here on Newgrounds. Trust me, music makes everything better. Good luck with your future projects!

im glad u liked sucking my balls so much, we must do this again :)

I totally understand.

I work alone too, and it's really a great feeling to have this piece of art that was made completely by you. I like your style, and the music fit nicely. The only thing that kept my score from being higher was the short length of the movie....but it's understandable when you have so much other stuff going on! Good luck on your future projects!

Beautiful!

This is very original. It reminded me of being in high school again---as soon as the math teacher started her lesson, I was lost in doodle world. Very good combination of keyframing and tweens.

Rick Rolled AGAIN!!

Animation was pretty good! I had to take off some points for the audio, though. Also the lines were a bit sketchy at times. Good job overall!

thank you , its only my third movie so 4give me for all those mistakes.

nice animation!

but don't forget to stop your music at the end of the cartoon.

ok still learning

freaky..

I like your style! You actually planned your Flash before making it. Some of these kids could learn from that. Beautiful visuals and creative monsters!

Amazing..

this reminded me of Sin City, and the music contrasted perfectly with what happened on the screen. I have not seen Part 1 yet, but that's what I'm about to do!

wow.

I can tell you spent alot of time on this. The story was consistent, as was the animation. The only thing that threw it off track was the fact that the audio was out of sync at times. Good luck on part 2!

Nice movement!

This could almost be mistaken for motion-capture. The lack of a soundtrack wasn't bad, really. It made me feel like I was really out there, listening to the wind and footsteps of some guy running around the city.

Looks difficult!

So maybe there was no plot, but the animation was pretty good and just the patience you had is something to be applauded. I don't think I could animate on a board like that.

Cantdoright responds:

Thanks and I was about to quit this half way though, but unfortunatly I did have to cut this short for school perposes.
